You transitioned from a successful career in luxury hospitality to co-founding EazyDiner. What inspired this entrepreneurial leap, and what gap in the industry were you aiming to address?
My years in luxury hospitality revealed a gap between restaurants and diners. EazyDiner was born to bridge that gap by making dining more seamless for consumers while helping restaurants connect with the right guests and grow sustainably.
Technology is redefining the dining experience. How do you see AI, data, and digital innovation changing the future of restaurants and hospitality?
Dining will be more personalized, efficient, and seamless , from smarter recommendations and reservations to optimized restaurant operations. The future lies in using technology to enhance hospitality, not replace the human touch.
India’s food culture is incredibly diverse and is increasingly gaining global recognition. What role do you believe Indian cuisine and hospitality play in enhancing the country’s global image?
Indian cuisine is a powerful expression of our culture, diversity, and heritage. Through its flavours, traditions, and hospitality, it tells India’s story to the world and strengthens our global identity as a destination of warmth and culinary excellence.
Sustainability and conscious dining are becoming increasingly important. How are restaurants adapting to these changing consumer expectations, and what trends do you see shaping the future?
Restaurants are becoming more mindful by embracing sustainable sourcing, reducing waste, and adopting responsible practices. The future will be shaped by conscious consumers seeking authentic experiences, transparency, and a stronger connection between food, people, and the planet.
As a founder, how do you foster innovation while maintaining sustainable growth in a fast-changing market?
Innovation comes from staying close to customers, embracing technology, and continuously evolving. At the same time, sustainable growth requires strong fundamentals, a clear vision, and building long-term value for both diners and restaurant partners.
India’s startup ecosystem has evolved rapidly. What advice would you offer entrepreneurs building businesses in consumer technology and hospitality today?
Focus on solving real consumer problems, stay obsessed with customer experience, and build with patience. In consumer technology and hospitality, long-term success comes from combining innovation with strong fundamentals and sustainable growth. But most importantly, stay passionate in what you do !
