H.E. Guy Parmelin, President of the Swiss Confederation Visits Noida International Airport

On 6th October, 2026, Noida International Airport (NIA) welcomed H.E. Guy Parmelin, President of the Swiss Confederation, along with H.E. Maya Tissafi, Ambassador of Switzerland to India, Hon’ble Minister Shri Sunil Sharma, Ministry of Electronics and IT, GoUP and a high-level delegation of government officials and business leaders, for a visit to the airport.

During the visit, President Parmelin was received by the leadership teams of Noida International Airport and Zurich Airport International AG. The delegation was briefed on the airport’s development journey, sustainability initiatives, passenger experience philosophy, and future growth plans. The visit also reflected the Government of Uttar Pradesh’s continued focus on attracting investment and its strong support for infrastructure-led growth in the region.
As part of the visit, the delegation toured key airport facilities, including the passenger terminal, ATC and key airside infrastructure, gaining first-hand insight into the airport’s design, technology, and operational capabilities. The visit also provided an opportunity to showcase Noida International Airport’s commitment to delivering a seamless, modern and efficient travel experience while supporting regional economic growth and connectivity.
