On December 19, 2025, the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry concluded the National Logistics Summit 3.0. The main theme of the event was “Driving Export Growth: Green, Smart & Sustainable Logistics for a Competitive India.”
The key highlights of the full-day event included panel discussions centred on major government initiatives and private-sector advancements aimed at reducing logistics costs, improving operational efficiency, and accelerating overall economic growth.
Mr. Naveen Seth, Deputy Secretary General, PHDCCI, emphasised that reducing logistics costs, embracing digital and smart solutions, and transitioning towards environmentally responsible supply chains are no longer choices; they are strategic imperatives for enhancing export competitiveness and achieving long-term growth.
“Logistics is a vital driver of trade and global leadership,” he added.
A key focus of the event outlined India’s determined efforts to bring logistics costs down to a single-digit percentage of GDP.
The discussions further extended to modernising labour practices, expanding market reach, adopting new technologies, and prioritising eco-friendly approaches.
The event witnessed collaboration among diverse stakeholders, including policymakers and industry experts, with a strong focus on devising practical solutions to lower costs while streamlining processes and embedding sustainability more deeply into logistics operations.
A standout theme throughout the day was India’s ambitious target of achieving a single-digit logistics-to-GDP ratio, while ensuring supply chains become more environmentally responsible and resilient for the future.
