Uttar Pradesh Tourism has been selected as the Tourism Partner for Diplomatic Nite, an event that promises to showcase the vibrant heritage and culture of the state, especially in anticipation of the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025.

The Maha Kumbh, a spiritual and cultural gathering held every twelve years, is set to take place in Prayagraj from January 14 to February 26, 2025. Leading up to the event, the Uttar Pradesh government has launched a ‘Kumbh Summit,’ spanning across all 18 divisions, which began in Lucknow and will culminate in Prayagraj on December 14.

To enhance the experience for the millions of pilgrims and tourists expected, Uttar Pradesh is investing in substantial infrastructure and beautification projects, including flyovers, railway underpasses, and city road expansions in Prayagraj.

The city celebrated as the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers at the sacred Triveni Sangam, is a vital spiritual destination. Additionally, the state’s tourism appeal extends beyond Hindu pilgrimage to destinations like the UP Buddhist Circuit, which attracts devotees worldwide. With its diverse attractions and rich history, Uttar Pradesh stands poised to elevate its tourism sector, appealing to spiritual, historical, and leisure travellers alike, thereby making it an ideal Tourism Partner for Diplomatic Nite 2024.
