Diplomatic Nite 2016 Review            Held on: November 17, 2016 at The Metropolitan Hotel, New Delhi.

 

  

  

On the momentous occasion of completing 20 years of chronicling India’s bilateral and multilateral engagements with the world, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Diplomatist magazine hosted Diplomatic Nite 2016 on November 17, 2016 at The Metropolitan Hotel & Spa, New Delhi.

A perfect start to Delhi’s party season, Diplomatic Nite saw the coming together of the crème de la crème of diplomats, bureaucrats, policy makers, observers, and media personalities for the celebration of diplomacy like never before.

Diplomatic Nite, high on glitz and glamour, was buzzy yet relaxed. Amidst free flowing wines, dinner, entertainment and air kisses, guests had a gala time.

The night had its array of music and entertainment. The pulsating music and song by Rueben Israel, who has a wide vocal music and dramatic repertoire - classical, opera, jazz, the blues, Broadway, pop music, and Vineet Tandon, the musical poet, kept the guests thoroughly engaged who made the most of the musical jugalbandi.

On the sidelines of the celebration, India’s leading magazine on diplomacy, also organised an exhibition cum sale of the first time ever display of paintings by Gurugram Prison inmates.

The Pilot Art Project is being run at Gurgaon District Prison, Haryana by Mr Harinder Singh, Superintendent, Haryana Prison Department, Monica Dhawan Director IVF - India Vision Foundation (An NGO initiative of Dr. Kiran Bedi) and 'nishu' Natasha Chadha Bhambri - Indian Contemporary Visual Artist.

Diplomatist Annual Edition The Diplomacy of Things, on 20 different types of diplomacy, was released by William Hawke, Diplomatist Managing Editor, H.E. Alexandre Cécé Loua, Ambassador of Republic of Guinea to India & Deputy Dean of Diplomatic Corps in India, Ambuj Chaturvedi, Executive Director, Overseas Infrastructure Alliance, and Alankar Srivastava, Diplomatist Editor-at-Large.
